A limited-edition collection celebrating our natural world, past and present. From the smallest minerals hidden deep within Earth’s crust to the towering bones of dinosaurs that roamed millions of years ago, every natural element plays a part in our shared story. Our design teams were given access to the Museum’s extensive archives, creating the collection from drawings made in centuries past. This design is created from an original image of an opal stone, from the Natural History Museum’s collection.

Laval is our quilted cross-body bag with external pockets & zip opening. Ideal for your next weekend getaway.

    Laval burgundy

    I have the Laval bag in the beautiful burgundy colour. It's a big soft, lightly padded bag that will mould to the shape of what you fill it with. For such a big bag I think the strap could do with being a little sturdier - I wouldn't want to put too much weight in the bag. I love the colour and the two big external pockets (there's a third pocket inside as well!). With the adjustable strap it fits well worn across the body. So far I have only used it carry fairly light loads.

    Perfect for travelling

    Bought this bag in the black and coloured heart design, fantastic for travels on the train, only issue is the fabric bit came off the zip, but to be honest I need to be better at packing and not using the sit on method 😂

    Pretty but not so handy

    The colour and the pattern of the fabric is amazing ! The sewing is solid. However, you cannot carry too much heavy stuff in it other wise you will hurt your shoulder. Also the bag doesn’t come with “solid” shape at the bottom so it takes the form of what’s in it and can be very voluminous

    Very spacious

    Bought for weekend getaways but also found it's great for work - fits laptop and everything I need. Holds on shoulder well and comfortable. Only slight issue is I wish I could make strap even tighter as I'm short.

    A must buy, I bought this as I had seen it in the shop and thought it was a lush pattern, so glad I bought it in the end it such good quality has great pockets and it so big, cannot wait to take everywhere
