    Love them. Perfect shape

    I already had the indigo version and have had the black version on 'email when in stock' for ages. The denim is so heavy and definitely feels made to last. Absolutely love the shape, especially in this day and age when stupid skinny or straight fits are still common. Kudos to Lucy & Yak for inclusive lengths too - us taller girls are neglected by so many brands so as long as you make longer lengths I will be your loyal customer and advocate.

    Delores PETITE - Indigo & Black

    Absolutely love this style of jeans, extremely flattering. However it’s worth noting that there’s inconsistency with sizing and length depending what colour you chose. I ordered the black and indigo both in a 32W-PETITE (I’m 5ft 2 for reference). I tried on black first, they were snug around the waist and hips, which I’m sure will loosen up after a few wears, however the length was perfect. Even without shoes on, the bottoms were not touching the floor. I then tried on my indigo pair, instantly I noticed how much bigger they felt, they seemed to sit a lot more high waist than the black pair, and were longer. I assumed that I’d accidentally been sent a regular length, but no, they were definitely petite! I tried them on with a pair of shoes and the bottoms were still very much gathered on the floor. Such a shame!

    Runs large and long but great for tall gals

    Honestly I’d rather a Jean run too long for me and know that the tall girls are taken care of, as even at 5”8 I struggle to find a Jean that doesn’t look half mast. You can always take material away but you can’t add!

    I wanted to love these jeans because they’re absolutely gorgeous but the sizing runs large. I am size usually a 16 in jeans knowing I’ll have room around the waist but that will accommodate my hips, and I bought these in a 16 but they feel like two sizes larger. I’m going to return them and get a size down.

    I am genuinely confused why the same brand has trouble keeping sizes consistent across their ranges. I bought the Tate jeans in black in this order, same colour and same size, and they really snug. Make it make sense??

    But I do love L&Y jeans a lot, they feel quality and wear nicely. Just order a size down to be safe, and perhaps buy a few sizes to try if you can

    great quality

    i have these in both blue & black (petite) - had to size up one size from my usual waist size. the black were a bit shorter in length than the blue.
