I’m 5'1", 36C bust, generally a size US 6 in pants and I ordered the US 8 Petite to give myself a little extra wiggle room, especially in the torso, just in case. I wanted to love this jumpsuit and was so excited when it arrived. The length of the leg is perfect for my shorter inseam and hits right above my ankle, but the bodice/torso fit is unfortunately off.
The bust is fine and zipped with room, but the arms are surprisingly tight, even though I have narrower shoulders. While the crotch appears to sit a bit lower (even a little baggy) when my arms are down, it becomes uncomfortably tight when I raise them. The cinching on the back also hits at an odd spot, creating an almost "diaper" effect.
The biggest issue, though, was getting it off. It took me nearly 25 minutes + a panic attack to wrestle myself out of it. I'm really disappointed because I've been searching for a jumpsuit like this for a long time, and I had high hopes.
I’d try a regular fit (not petite) to see if the bodice fit better but then then I’d need to hem the legs. Plus, I’m hesitant to try another size because they don’t appear to offer exchanges. And having to pay to ship the item back and then pay again for shipping on a replacement makes it hard to justify trying a different size, especially when I really wanted this to work.
